    1. Aims of the class
      1. Student’s work (paper-based) on exercises of learning topics.
      2. Presentation of Calculus Application, such as showing the how calculus can help calculate the distance an object travelled in the air after being thrown from a point.

  2. Computer Programming 2
    1. Aims of the class
      1. Student’s codes based on exercises and topics discussed in class.
      2. Term project which is a mini game, similar to Battle City. The game demonstrates various object oriented concepts, such as inheritance, polymorphism, associations, etc. Although the game concept is the same, but each group can design their own rules, such as some tanks are stronger than others, appearances of the tanks.

  3. Data Structure
    1. Aims of the class
      1. Student’s codes based on exercises and topics discussed in class.
      2. Term project which demonstrates how different data structures and algorithms can affect the performance. The students choose a problem domain, such as employee records, music records, etc, and two data structures. Then they implement with Python and compare the performance of their choices using different input sets.
