Assumption University has submitted the final reports both in Thai and English versions to ONDE.

The seminar titled “ICT Skills Directions: Are we ready?” has been organized on 24 September 2018 at Petchchompoo Room, The Emerald Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The primary objective of this seminar is to publicize the definition and standard of three new ASEAN ICT skills, which are Big Data, Social Business and Internet of Things (IoT) as well as a guideline to promote the use of ASEAN ICT skills standard among ASEAN member countries. Attending the seminar were 104 representatives from several government agencies and private sectors.

A workshop entitled “Reviewing and Enhancing ASEAN ICT Skills Standard” is to be organized on 2-3 July 2018 with an aim to consider a skill standard in 3 areas with respect to Big Data, Social Business and Internet of Things, and to discuss related approach to promote the use of ICT standard within the region. The workshop was organized at Library room, ATAS Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. Six ASEAN representatives from Cambodia, Philippine, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam attended the seminar. It is a great honor to have Mrs. Vunnaporn Devahastin, Secretary – General, The National Digital Economy and Society Commission delivered an opening speech in the workshop
